QIA is delighted to share the news that Mr. Wali Alam, President QIA, has been invited to give the keynote talk at the ISO 9000 & Audits World Conference. Past, Present, and Future trends in Quality Management will be the subject of his talk. This presentation will provide a strategic view for businesses to gain a competitive advantage via their QMS by simulating the human CNS (Central Nervous System). Quality professionals will surely be captivated, intrigued, and inspired by the presentation. By the end of his session, you'll have a clearer picture of where production and quality management are at and where they're going.
From 1970 through 1992, Wali Alam held several leadership positions in Manufacturing Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain Management, and Quality Systems at a number of significant manufacturing organizations. In 1994, he decided to establish a consulting firm to provide customers with assistance in the areas of Quality Management System consulting, training, and audits (QMS). From its inception in 1994, he has served as president and chief executive officer of Quality Institute of America (QIA). Throughout the last 28 years, QIA has assisted more than 500 customers via its consulting, training, auditing, and management system software.
Since 1983, Wali has been a leader in a number of professional groups. The Association for Information Systems and the Institute of Industrial Engineers are two of these groups. Since 1992, he has held several leadership positions in the ASQ, such as Houston Section Chair and Conference Chair. Wali has been asked to speak at a wide range of events, from local meetups to international conferences, and has won many awards from the American Society for Quality. He has also worked on many projects outside of North America.
