Rick Detwiler is retired from Chem Coast, Inc., after an impressive 24-year tenure as Vice President. During his time there, he played a pivotal role in the daily operations of the Marine Inspection and Chemical Testing business, spearheading the introduction of ISO Certification and Automated Order Processes. Under his leadership, the company transitioned from pen and paper to the computer age. Before his work at Chem Coast, Rick spent 23 years with E. I. DuPont, holding various key positions at both plant and corporate headquarters assignments, including Department ISO Implementation Manager, Department International & Domestic Logistics Manager, and International Customer Service Coordinator. He also managed numerous project management improvements and oversaw production and laboratory management roles. In 2023, Rick joined the Quality Institute of America as Director of Administration and Special Projects. He brought his expertise in providing technical leadership for their clients' software development, ISO9001 Auditing, Project Management, Regulatory Compliance, and Customer Service.
